word documents in PLEX not opening (i.e. operator gage instructions)

Operator gage instruction word docs were going straight to the save as screen when trying to open them at the control panel so I installed the "MS office viewer file converter" and made "word viewer" the default open with program and the documents are now opening with no problems.
