Question:Outlook is blocking attachments as "potentially unsafe". This applies to internal and customer email communication.
Answer:This is related to a string of bad updates released from Microsoft last month. Instead of patching the broken updates, Microsoft is recommending the updates be rolled back, which we are in the process of doing. In the meantime, please reference the possible workarounds below.
1. Try opening the email attachment from the Outlook Web App:

3. You should be able to extract the attachment from the email archive:
